Architected the communications and network infrastructure for the City of Jacksonville’s intelligent transportation system across more than one thousand signalised intersections, working alongside the Traffic Engineering Division.
Traffic engineering owned signal timing and flow strategy. This work owned the layer that made it possible: field communications out to a thousand-plus roadside cabinets, transport that stayed up when segments did not, and central management platforms able to receive and act on what the roadside sent back.
